2015年5月26日、Europeanaは教育と学習のための政策提言である“Europeana for Education and Learning Policy Recommendations”を公表しました。
この提言書では、一連の政策要求を提案しており、教育と学習において、Europeanaのもとにそろえられた欧州のデジタル遺産を（再）利用するための活動指針を確認するものとのことです。
主要な提言としては
・政策担当者、文化遺産機関、教育者の間で、アクセスを改善し、活動の重なりを減らすために欧州規模での体系化された対話を築くこと。
・「教育と学習」に適したコンテンツの供給を文化遺産機関や省庁に優先させること。
・デジタル学習資源が含まれアクセスできる開発を重視すること
・オープンライセンスを促進し、アクセスと教育を学習を支える再利用の条件を改善すること
があげられています。
