2014年9月18日、ゲティ財団と米国デジタル公共図書館（DPLA）が連携を発表しました。ゲティ研究所が所有する美術史に関する約100,000件のデジタル化資料が、DPLAから検索できるようになったとのことです。今後、同研究所は所有資料のデジタル化作業を更に進め、それに伴いDPLAへの提供資料数も増加させるとのことです。
