政府の通信監視に対するキャンペーン“Rese the Net”の開始に合わせ、国際図書館連盟（IFLA）が、2014年6月5日、“International Principles on the Application of Human Rights to Communications Surveillance”(IPAHRCS)に署名した機関として、通信監視に対する活動を継続していく旨をアナウンスしています。
