2013年1月25日～29日に米国のシアトルで米国図書館協会（ALA）冬季大会が開催されました。その内容を、図書館システム、ディスカバリサービス、電子書籍といった観点から振り返るイベントが2月8日に開かれ、Jason Griffey、Marshall Breeding、Sue Polankaの三氏が報告を行いました。その動画と資料が公開されています。また、Polanka氏は、自身のブログで電子書籍関連のニュースをまとめてもいます。
