2012年12月17日、英国図書館（BL）は、同館が所蔵する『アレクサンドリア写本（Codex Alexandrinus）』のうち、新約聖書についてデジタル化公開しました。
『アレクサンドリア写本』は5世紀につくられたもので、『シナイ写本（Codex Sinaiticus）』と『バチカン写本（Codex Vaticnus）』と並び、三大ギリシャ語写本のうちの一つに数えられています。なお、シナイ写本については、BL等のプロジェクトにより既にデジタル化公開されています。
