米国ミシガン大学の機関リポジトリで、Natsuko Nicholls氏によるレポート“Status and Outlook for University of Michigan Research Profile Data Strategy”が公開されています。
これは、CLIR/DLFのデータキュレーションフェローであるNicholls氏が、ミシガン大学のために作成したレポートです。テーマは「研究情報管理（システム）」などと呼ばれている領域です（ここでは“research profile data management system”という表現が使われていますが、類似のシステムを指す言葉として“research information management system”“current research information system”などもあるようです）。一般に、大学等に所属する研究者全体を対象に、誰が、どのような研究をしているかという情報を把握・管理するためのシステムを指すようです。
