2012年8月15日に、研究成果の共有ができる研究者のためのソーシャルネットワークAcademia.eduが、“Analytics Dashboard”という新機能を公開しました。これは、自身の公開した研究成果が、研究者コミュニティの中でどのようなインパクトがあるのか、その閲覧状況についてリアルタイムで分析できる機能です。具体的には、どのようなサーチエンジンから資料に到達したのか、どの国からのアクセスが多いのか等を、グラフィカルに示すもののようです。
