2012年1月12日、オランダのライデン大学図書館Scaliger InstituteとElsevier社が、16世紀から18世紀までの科学および出版研究を行う稀覯本研究者向けに、3年間のフェローシッププログラムを実施すると発表しています。これは、2名の研究者に対して毎年1-3か月間、ライデン大学図書館の特別コレクションとエルゼビア社の文化遺産コレクションの利用を支援するというもののようです。このフェローシッププログラムは、エルゼビア社の前身の出版社が出版した1,000点以上のタイトルを含む、2,000点以上の稀覯本を収録したオンラインカタログ“Elsevier Heritage Collection”の公開に基づいて行われるようです。
