OCLCが、英国シェフィールド大学と共同で行う、目録のレコメンド機能の開発研究に対して、英国の芸術・人文科学研究会議（Arts and Humanities Research Council）から資金援助を受けると発表しています。利用者の需要や志向を調査し、WorldCatの書誌データのマイニングを行って、プロトタイプの構築を目指すとのことです。
