米国大学・研究図書館協会（ACRL）はこのほど、“Comprehensive Guide to Emergency and Disaster Preparedness and Recovery”（緊急事態・災害への備えと復興に関する総合ガイド）を刊行しました。本書は、地震、火事、洪水、ハリケーンなどの災害から復興した実際の事例を引きながら、災害計画の立案、緊急事態への対応、災害からの復興といったトピックについて、実践的なアドバイスを行っています。
