英国の博物館・図書館・文書館国家評議会（MLA）がロンドン五輪組織委員会（LOCOG）と協同で実施する「文化オリンピアード（Cultural Olympiad）」の主要イベントである“Stories of the world”についての情報が、英国図書館のウェブサイトに掲載されています。“Stories of the world”は、英国内の59の博物館、図書館、文書館が2011年から2012年にかけて35件以上の展示を行うもので、英国図書館の展示“In Your Own Words”は、国内の若者が英国図書館の所蔵資料から選んだ資料を図書館やオンラインで展示するということです。
