シカゴ大学（University of Chicago）図書館の学位論文事務局（Dissertation Office）は、学位論文の提出方法を電子的な提出に統一すると発表しています。
これまで、冊子2部、電子ファイル2部を提出する規則になっていましたが、今後は、ProQuestグループのUMI Dissertation Publishingを使い、電子的に提出、オンライン上で審査、提出された学位論文はProQuest Dissertations and Thesesを通して提供される、という道筋になるとのことです。
